Scrip Program
Little Lambs’ Childcare Board is using the Scrip gift card program as a fundraiser for improvements and needed items for the children in our care. You can help this mission of St. Paul Lutheran Church by purchasing gift cards through the Scrip program to buy gas, groceries, items from retail stores, entertainment, and meals at restaurants. There is no hidden cost to you; you receive dollar-for-dollar gift cards. A percentage of the cost of the gift card is donated by the vendor (Hy-Vee, Kwik Trip, Casey’s, Wal-Mart, Olive Garden, Subway, McDonald’s, Out to Lunch, Red Lobster, etc.).
There is an enrollment form for you to fill out if you would like to support this fundraiser program. You then select your choice of gift cards and the amount of the gift cards from vendors, who are listed on the order form. After filling out the Scrip order form and providing a check or cash for the cost of those gift cards that you wish to purchase, you give the form, with your payment, to a volunteer who will be at the table by the elevator following the Sunday service. We do have some cards on hand. The gift cards that need to be ordered should arrive for you to pick up at the same table the following Sunday.
Some of the profits helped purchase the playground fence and playground woodchips. We donated some money to the playground asphalt project. We purchased some outreach booklets for our childcare families from The Lutheran Hour’s Project Connect. We also provided a year’s subscription to Happy Times Magazine (a CPH publication for young children) to each of our childcare families.
We appreciate your support of Little Lambs’ service to young children of our church and our community as we care for their spiritual, physical and emotional needs.
