Dear Members of St. Paul Lutheran Church:
After many years of being Youth Coordinator of St. Paul Lutheran Church, I have decided to vacate this position and would like to encourage someone else from our church to assume this position leading our youth by September 1st 2011. As my children have grown now, I am getting busier with them and now have grandchildren.
Over the past 11 years, I have enjoyed being the youth leader for your children, getting to know them and making the plans for bible studies and activities at St. Paul’s church. I pray that it continues and can progress even more than in the past. I will help out if needed with whoever takes care of our youth. Being with our youth today is a very important role and we must remind our parents at our church to bring their children to our church services and activities, for without our youth, it is sad to say, but our church won’t exist in the future. We all live a fast pace lifestyle, but let us not forget to put GOD back into our daily routines. No matter how busy you are, please find time to pray for our children and their futures. We live in a sinful world and our kids need somewhere safe and fun to hang out together.
As in the past few years, we have been doing activities with Pastor Korb’s and Pastor Matthew’s churches, too. They have been a blessing to helping me out. I hope they can continue to share in our acitivities.
Our next scheduled get together will be on August 14. We will plan to go canoeing at Camp Omega for the afternoon and ending with roasted hot dogs/snacks/drinks. I will get more information out in the August Newsletter.
Please let the Board of Education know if you are interested in becoming a leader for our youth and let’s put GOD back into our days and nights. Please continue to pray about this so we can get our kids to come back to our church and continue learning about God’s blessings.
Sincerely,
Debbie Roemhildt, Youth Coordinator
